The planned wind farm in the Municipality of Ostrów Lubelski represents an important opportunity for the development of renewable energy and the local economy.
Located in an area currently without renewable energy installations, the project has been carefully designed to minimise its impact on residents. All turbines will be positioned more than 700 metres from residential buildings and will be largely surrounded by forests.
The wind farm could provide electricity for approximately 70,000 households and generate around PLN 1.7 million in annual tax revenues for the municipality. These revenues could support investments in sports facilities, cycling paths, marketplaces, roads and other local infrastructure.
The selected sites offer excellent conditions due to their location, limited visual impact, reduced noise exposure and access to suitable electrical infrastructure. Land lease agreements have already been signed, and the project has received support from several local residents.
FEASABILITY
Securing all land leases included sweeping area, cooperate with municipality and councils, public meetings.
PERMISSION
Securing General Plan, Master Plan, Environmental study included min. one year of bird and bats inventory. Grid connection conditions 110kV substation and building permit.
CONSTRUCTION
Construction site preparations, materials delivery, foundations, tower, blades, substation, cable routes, commissioning.
